I’m a Halloween lover. I love Halloween so much I wish Halloween would last an entire month. Every year I ask myself, “Am I going to scare anybody this Halloween?”

My favorite part about Halloween are the costumes. I love creating the perfect look and being someone else for a day. The first thing that comes to my mind of course is spooky nails! Below is a tutorial on how to create different scary nails for this Halloween season.

I have been getting gel nails for years now. Gel nails are great because they are strong and last about two weeks until you need to get them re-done. As you can see in the picture above, these gel nails were inspired by the movie “The Nightmare Before Christmas” which is one of my favorite movies. Halloween is just around the corner. I am sure everyone is excited about it. I know I am super excited about this Halloween as I get to dress up for the party. Here is my dilemma, I want to look scary with my costumes but not so scary that people will be scared of me. Here is what I mean.

I love having nice nails and a good manicure goes a long way in helping me look better. This Halloween, I want a manicure that will go well with my costumes and will make me look scary but not too much. I know it’s only September, but I’ve been thinking about Halloween since a few months ago. It’s my favorite holiday and I love getting dressed up. This year I’m going to be a vampire — simple, but hopefully elegant and cool.

I’ve been thinking about what to do with my makeup, though. I don’t really want to go full-on gothic, so I’m trying to think of something else.

I thought of doing french manicures, but with red tips instead of white. It’s not super-original or anything, but it’s a little bit darker than usual and I already like red on my nails anyway.

I also thought about glittering up my nails for Halloween. Maybe just clear polish with some flecks of gold or silver? Or maybe just red nail polish with a few metallic flecks in it?

Hey everyone! Thanksgiving is officially over and my family has already put up our Christmas decorations. I just love the holiday season, don’t you? Anyways, I wanted to share with you all a fun nail design that I did for the month of December.

I used the Gelish Foundation Base Coat, Gelish Structure Builder Gel, and Gelish Top It Off Sealer. The glitter color that I used is called “Ready To Give.” It’s the perfect silver glitter for this time of year.

I’ve heard a lot about the CND Stickey base coat and it’s supposed to be great at helping your polish stick around longer. Next time when I do my nails, I think I’m going to use this product and see how it works out!
