Bring Out Your Inner Glamour with the Shellac Manicure

If you love gorgeous nails and need a manicure that will last, then you will love the Shellac nail treatment. This is the new kid on the block in the world of nail treatments that lasts, and if it hasn’t reached your neck of the woods yet, then it soon will. We are going to look at what this treatment is, how long it lasts, why it’s so popular and why you’ll want to try it.

What is Shellac?

Shellac is a cross between normal nail polish and gel nails. Like gel nails it needs to be cured under a UV light (this hardens the manicure). Like normal nail polish it can be removed with regular nail polish remover. It applies like regular polish, but unlike regular polish has no dry time; as soon as each coat has been applied it’s ready for the next coat. Because it is cured after each coat, there’s no smudging or smearing. The final result looks like a regular manicure but lasts up to 14 days without chipping!

Why do People Love Shellac?

The main reason people love shellac is because they don’t have to worry about their nails ch

This is a blog about shellac manicures and nails. Shellac is a long lasting nail polish that promises to protect your nails for up to two weeks. It’s the hottest trend in polish today and it does not chip, peel, or smudge.

It has been around since the early 1900s and was originally used as a finish for wood. In other words, shellac was the original varnish. In the 1920s it was introduced as a nail polish and since then has been gaining popularity among fashionistas looking for a perfect manicure without all of the hassle.

This blog will feature information on how to get shellac manicures, how they are applied, what colors are available, where to get them and much more. If you love having beautiful nails then this is the place for you!

You’ve probably heard a lot of buzz about this new type of manicure called a shellac manicure. But what is it?

According to Wikipedia, the shellac manicure is the “hybrid of gel and nail polish.” A mixture of gel and nail polish, the shellac manicure lasts longer than a traditional nail polish application but does not need to be touched up as often as a gel manicure.

The shellac manicure can be used on your fingernails or toenails. It is applied in the salon by professionals in a similar manner to both gel and traditional nail polishes. However, it dries quickly under ultraviolet light. And once it dries, it is hard like a gel but comes off with regular acetone like a normal nail polish.

Hi Everyone!

A quick update on the shellac manicure. I have had a lot of questions about the newest professional nail product to hit the market. For those of you who don’t know, shellac is a cross between nail polish and gel. It goes on just like nail polish, but it is cured with UV light so there is no drying time. Shellac has become very popular because it lasts longer than regular nail polish (up to 2 weeks) and it doesn’t chip easily.

The shellac manicure that I am currently offering includes filing, shaping and cuticle work, followed by a shellac polish application of your choice (polish change every two weeks). The cost for this service is $50 for a full set, $40 for fills.

I’ve been getting a lot of questions about this new Shellac manicure thing, so I thought I’d share some info. If you don’t know what it is, it’s a manicure that is supposed to last for 14 days without chipping and no dry time.

I was skeptical at first because I get my nails done all the time and they always chip within a day or two. The Shellac manicure was developed by Creative Nail Design (CND) and they claim that once applied and cured in a UV light, the polish will not chip, dull or peel for 14 days. It’s supposed to go on like polish but wear like gel. Sounds pretty awesome right?

My manicurist at Varnish told me they have been doing the Shellac mani’s since January and most of her clients are happy with them. She said she had one client who worked as a nurse and after 2 weeks her nails still looked perfect with no chips. She also said that she hasn’t had any problems with them peeling off either, which is nice to hear since the last thing I want to do is pay $30 for something that will only last for 2 days and then start peeling off!

So after hearing all of this good

Shellac is a type of nail polish that combines the best of both worlds: it is durable like acrylic and has the glossy finish of regular nail polish. It is a UV cured gel, which means you can also make your nails look as natural as possible with this polish. The shellac manicure is applied by a professional in a salon, so you can be sure that it will be done right the first time.

The process of applying shellac to your nails is quite simple. First, you will need to prep your hands and fingers by cleaning them with alcohol or rubbing alcohol. Next, apply a thin layer of nail polish remover over your nails and dry them with a towel or paper towel. After that, use a cotton ball or q-tip to apply the base coat to your nails. Finally, apply a top coat over your entire nail, including the edges and tips.

What are the benefits of using shellac? Because it is made from the same materials used for acrylic nails, it keeps its shine for longer periods of time than other types of manicures do. Also, since it hardens within minutes of being applied, you can rest assured that it won’t chip or peel off in days like traditional nail polishes do.
