Fall is one of the best seasons for nail polish because it offers so many beautiful colors and shades.

There are a few things to consider before you buy:

1. Nail Polish comes in different finishes, you have Luster, Matte, Glitter, Pearl and Shimmer

2. You want to choose a color that matches your skin tone

3. The shade of nail polish should coordinate with your wardrobe

4. The technique used for applying nail polish is very important

5. You want to choose the perfect shade for your nails

Before buying a nail polish, there are some points that one must keep in mind. Nail polishes differ in their quality and finish. Some nail polishes chip off easily while some stay longer. Some nail polishes give a glossy finish while others give a matte finish. The nail polish you buy should be in keeping with your taste, your skin tone and the occasion for which it is being bought.

There are several brands of nail polish available today to choose from. While choosing a color of nail polish, keep in mind that the shade should be according to your skin tone. It is best if you experiment with different shades to find the one most suited for you. To find out whether or not your nails will suit a particular shade of nail polish, do a test by applying it on one of your nails. If you like the way it looks on that particular finger then go ahead and buy it otherwise look for another shade to try out.

The occasion on which you need the nail polish also matters while buying it. For instance if you want to buy a good quality nail polish for an evening party then try out those which have glittery elements in them as they look very glamorous at night but may not be appropriate for day time wear.

If you’ve ever been in the nail polish aisle of the drugstore and felt overwhelmed with the choices, then you’re not alone. There are so many colors and shades to choose from, that picking out a color for your nails can be a little tricky at times. The good news is there is no “right” or “wrong” color.

You should choose nail polish that you like best. If it’s a color you like to wear, then it’s a good choice. If you’re worried about choosing a shade that will go with everything in your wardrobe, opt for neutral shades such as beige, nude and grey which are versatile enough to go with almost any outfit.

However, if you have a favorite color, then go for it! It doesn’t matter if it’s pink or purple, blue or green as long as it makes you happy.

I’m a very picky person when it comes to nail polish. I guess most women are. If you want to find out which nail polish really works and what you should look for on the bottle, continue reading!

First of all, choose three brands that you like. It doesn’t matter if they are cheap, expensive or drugstore brands, as long as you get good quality for your money. You usually have to try out different brands until you find the one that suits you best. Don’t forget to try out all the different types of nail polishes: cream, gloss, pearl etc. Personally I only wear cream polishes because I think they last longer and don’t look as cheap as gloss or pearl.

Another important thing is the brush. A good brush has a curved edge and is thick but still flexible. If it is too stiff it will leave strokes on your nails after painting them, making them look cheap and unprofessional.

Now let’s have a closer look at the bottle: Every good brand has a lot number or batch number printed on the bottom of the bottle. You can use this number to see where it was produced and when it was made (they usually put

Fall Nail Colors

Nail polish, also known as nail varnish, is a lacquer that can be applied to the human fingernail or toenails to decorate and protect the nail plates. The formula has been revised repeatedly to enhance its decorative effects, and to suppress cracking or peeling. Nail polish consists of a mix of an organic polymer and several other components, depending on the brand.

The most common use of nail polish is to decorate fingernails. Clear, colorless versions strengthen nails or act as a base coat to protect the nail from discoloration.

The best nail polish colors for fall, according to one manicurist.

“I love the idea of having a dark, moody color on my nails,” says celebrity manicurist Jin Soon Choi. “It’s so chic and makes me feel instantly polished.”

Choi has been in the nail industry for over 25 years and is known for her namesake line of high-quality polishes. Her favorite fall shades are inspired by nature and range from a glossy oxblood red to a deep pine green and the perfect pearlescent blue-gray.

“I always encourage clients to try richer hues in cooler weather,” Choi says. “You can wear these colors with almost anything in your closet, from jeans and T-shirts to cocktail dresses and even ball gowns.”

Just because spring and summer are over, doesn’t mean your nail game has to be. Fall is the best time of year to rock a bold hue, whether it’s burgundy, oxblood, navy or black.

“You can pretty much get away with wearing most colors this fall and winter,” celebrity manicurist Ashlie Johnson tells us. “As long as you wear the right base coat and top coat, you won’t have any problems with chipping.”

Johnson recommends using a gel or shellac base coat to help your polish last longer. “Gel base coats make the color look brighter and they give it a gel-like finish,” she says.
