8 Tips To Find Your Perfect Nail Polish Shade

Nail polish has become a major accessory for women. It can be fun to find the perfect shade that matches your skin tone and nail shape as well as your personality, style and outfit. Here are 8 tips to help you find the perfect nail polish shade for you.

1. Start with a base color

If you are new at painting your nails, start with a base coat of white first. A white base will help bring out the nail polish shade or colors whether it is pale or bright. You can also use a clear base coat that works like a primer for your nail polish color to keep it lasting longer.

Today I’m going to show you eight tips that will help you find your perfect nail polish shade. The most important thing is to find a color that works with your skin tone and your lifestyle. If you are very fair, some colors may be too harsh on your skin and if you have an active lifestyle, a bright color might not be the best choice. So what I want to do today is show you how to choose the right nail polish color for YOU!

Hi All!

Welcome to my first blog post. I’m so excited to share with you my 8 tips to find your perfect nail polish shade.

1. Know your undertone

2. Know the color wheel

3. Warm vs cool is more important than light vs dark

4. Test out different shades in natural light

5. Take into consideration your lifestyle and interests

6. Coordinate with your eye color (and other accessories)

7. Coordinate with your skin tone

8. Express yourself!

We can’t deny that a beautiful manicure can give us confidence and make us feel good. In fact, it’s a simple way to upgrade any outfit. But what if you’re worried about committing to a color? We all have those moments when we’re standing in front of the nail polish wall and we wonder, “What if I choose the wrong color”? We totally get it which is why we’ve come up with some tips to help you find your perfect nail polish shade.

1. Consider your skin tone: Most people know the basic rules of choosing makeup based on their skin tone but this also applies when choosing a nail polish. If you have cool undertones (think pink), opt for cool shades of nail polish such as blues and reds with blue undertones. If you have warm undertones (think yellow), opt for warm shades of nail polish such as oranges and reds with orange undertones.

2. Consider your lifestyle: This is critical to consider because who wants to spend time taking off their nail polish just to put on something new? When considering your lifestyle, here are some things that may help you narrow down your choices:

– Do you want something neutral or trendy?

– Are you looking for something long lasting?

Are you tired of wasting money on nail polishes that just do not suit you? I know the feeling! It is so frustrating when you get home and try on your new nail polish only to find out that it does not match your skin tone or look good with your outfit.

I want to help you find your perfect nail color! Follow this step-by-step guide and create one that compliments your skin tone and lifestyle.

You will need a camera or smart phone to take pictures of yourself with different nail polishes, a notebook to write down the results, and some time to test out these 8 tips. Make sure you are in a well-lit area when taking pictures, so you can see the true color of the nail polish.

When trying on nail polishes, make sure you have a base coat on, so the true color of the nail polish shows up. The most accurate way to see how the color looks on your nails is without any top coat, but if you want it to last longer then wear a top coat over it.

If you love nail polish like me, you probably have a large collection of various colors and finishes. Despite having so many choices sometimes I find myself reaching for the same three or four colors on a regular basis.

I believe there is a reason why we gravitate towards certain colors. Maybe it’s because they look good on us or make us feel happy or confident. So instead of buying another nail polish that “looks interesting” at the store, let’s take the guesswork out of finding our perfect nail polish shade using science and psychology!

The color wheel consists of 12 colors: three primary colors (red, yellow and blue), three secondary colors (orange, green and purple) and six tertiary colors (yellow-orange, red-orange, red-purple, blue-purple, blue-green and yellow-green). We can use this color wheel as a guide to help us determine which colors will look best with our skin tone.

What is the best white gel nail polish?

White is a tough color to pull off on nails. It can look striking yet it’s easy to make them look too pale or chalky.

The most important thing about white nails is that you need to get a good gel white – this will prevent any chalky or yellow tones from coming through. If you are lucky enough to have a natural white canvas, then it will be easier for your gel polish to go on smoothly and evenly.

If you have a darker skin tone, then chances are you will need to use a slightly darker shade of white than someone with paler skin. The best way to find the perfect shade for your skin tone is by experimenting with different shades until you find one that works for you.

You should also consider how often you will wear your nails and what occasions you will be attending while wearing them. A more formal affair might require a darker shade of white while something more casual would suit lighter shades better.
