I’m a crafty person. I like to make things, and I love nail polish! So, I decided to combine my two loves and start making my own nail polish. Of course, I didn’t know where to start and had no idea what ingredients to use. I looked it up and found out there are a lot of websites that just give you general information on how to make your own nail polish with no actual recipes or step by step instructions on how to do it.

So, I decided to make this blog for people like me who want to make their own nail polish but don’t know where to start or what ingredients to buy. As a beginner myself, I will show you how you can start with just a few cheap ingredients from the drugstore or online, and gradually move on to more complicated recipes and techniques.

I recently discovered the wonders of making your own nail polish and have found it to be quite addictive. I love that I can create my own color combinations and textures, including things like magnetic nail polish as well as glitter.

The hardest part about making your own nail polish is getting the right ingredients. There are many blog posts out there on how to make your own nail polish, but they don’t give you any help on where to buy all the hard-to-find items, like the nail lacquer base and the nail polish bottles and caps.

My goal is to provide you with a list of suppliers and explain the differences in their products, so that you can make informed decisions about what to buy. I will also include some tips on how to use these products correctly, so that your DIY polishes come out perfect every time.

I have tried many different brands of nail polish over the years and have found some that work better than others. I am always looking for new brands or products that might work better than what I am currently using, so feel free to let me know if you have any recommendations!

Nail polish is a lacquer that can be applied to the human fingernail or toenails to decorate and protect the nail plates. The formulation has been revised repeatedly to enhance its decorative effects, and to suppress cracking or flaking. Nail polish consists of a mixture of an organic polymer and several other components, depending on the brand.

Nail polish originated in China, with colored lacquers used as early as 3000 BC. These were made from a combination of bee wax, gum Arabic (used as a hardener), gelatin (used as a base), vegetable dyes and gum benzoin (used as a preservative). Early nail polish formulas were created using basic ingredients such as egg whites, beeswax and gelatine, which were polished onto nails using a brush for color and shine. In ancient Egypt, nails were tinted with red henna; in Babylonia, they were painted with kohl; and in China and India, some used fruit juices and plant dyes to color their nails. By the turn of the ninth century, nails were tinted with scented red oils; rose water was particularly popular. The first commercially available nail polish was sold in the 1920s by Cutex.
