A manicure is a cosmetic beauty treatment for the fingernails and hands performed at home or in a nail salon. A manicure consists of filing and shaping the free edge of nails, pushing (with a cuticle pusher) and clipping (with nail scissors or clippers any nonliving tissue (limited to cuticle and hangnails), treatments with various liquids, massage of the hand, application of fingernail polish, and the application of artificial nails. Some manicures include painting pictures or designs on the nails or applying small decals or imitation jewels. Other nail treatments may include the application of artificial nail gel nails, tips, or acrylics, which may be referred to as French manicures. Nail Polish Addiction Blog

Welcome to the Nail Polish Addicts blog. This blog is dedicated to sharing information about nail polish addiction and how to recover from it.

About the Blog

This blog is written by an addict for addicts. I have been a nail polish addict for over 6 years and I have learned a lot about this very real addiction. My goal with this blog is to help others who are struggling with their addiction.

Learning from Others

One of the major reasons why I wanted to start this blog was so that other nail polish addicts could share their stories and learn from each other. I know that there is a lot of shame associated with our addiction. But if we can learn from each other, we can overcome our shame and get on with recovery!

I would love for you to share your story in the comments section here in this blog. If you would like me to post your story on the site, please email me at I will do my best to respond quickly!

There is no such thing as normal with nail polish. It does not exist. Normal is a made up word to make the sane people feel better about the crazy people. Nail polish addicts are not crazy…they just have an addiction.

The first step in breaking your addiction is to admit that you have a problem. I know this might be difficult, but you are here reading this article, so there is no need to lie to yourself or anyone else anymore! You are addicted to nail polish and now it’s time to do something about it!

You can also try smearing your most beloved polishes together on a piece of paper, or taking a picture of them all (this may take several pictures), and then throwing them away. This might seem like torture, but it will make you feel better in the long run…trust me…I’ve been there!

I’m a nail polish addict. I love all kinds of nail treatments, but my favorite is the manicure. I’ve been getting manicures since I was a teenager and have been doing my own nails for much longer than that.

I have always loved having my nails done, but lately I’ve become a bit of a manicure addict. I’ve had the same manicurist for several years now, and she’s great. But lately I’ve been spending way too much time and money on manicures. So I decided to try something new: doing my own nails!

I’m not going to lie: it’s a lot of work! You have to be careful, precise, patient and creative. But if you’re willing to put in the effort, you can create some amazing looks that are unique to you. And once you get the hang of it, you’ll never want to go back to paying someone else to do your nails again!

Russian manicure is a nail treatment that creates a matte finish using only a nail file and no polish.

The file is placed in water to create steam and then rubbed over the fingernail. Nail technicians in Russia created the look for brides who wanted something very natural.

Russian manicure is a great way to keep nails in good condition without the use of harsh chemicals. It also allows the natural color of the nails to show through, making it perfect for people with healthy nails who want to give them a break from nail polish.

“Russian manicure”: dark colored nail polish on the tips, and a light colored one for the rest of the nails. Looks cool and is very easy to do.

The “Russian manicure” is a simple technique to make your nails look stylish without having to go to the salon. It consists of applying darker colored nail polish on the tips, and a lighter one for the rest of the nails. The effect is simple, yet looks really cool.

It’s so easy, you can do it at home. You just need two nail polishes (it works best if they’re from the same collection), a base coat, topcoat and two cotton pads or cotton balls.

First apply a base coat on your nails as usual (this step is optional, if you don’t have a base coat you can use clear nail polish). Then cover your whole nails with a light color (a nude or white would be perfect). Let it dry for about 5 minutes.

Cut the tip off one of your cotton pads/balls in half, dip it in acetone and clean around your nails where you want to apply the darker color; this will create an easier transition between colors when applying it over the lighter color.

Then using a brush (or even better with

A Russian manicure is a technique used in manicures that uses two contrasting colors – typically, a light color on the tip of the nail, and a darker color on the rest of the nail. This creates a dramatic effect. The name “Russian manicure” derives from its origin in Russia, where it was popularized by celebrities.

The Russian manicure is an alternative to the French manicure, which uses white polish on the tip of the nail and pink or nude on the rest of the nail. The French manicure can be seen as more subtle than the Russian manicure.

In contrast to French manicures, which use soft pastel colors, Russian manicures use bright, vivid colors such as red or orange for a more striking look.
