If you want to go for a design on your nails, I would recommend having an acrylic overlay and then a gel polish overlay. You can use regular nail polish to do the design, or you can use acrylic paint.I usually just use acrylic paint because it lasts longer than regular nail polish and it also has better coverage. You could also use an airbrush machine if you want to get really fancy!
