Pink and gold nails are the hottest manicure look right now, but how can you achieve this look at home? Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do pink and gold nails.

1. Paint your nails with a good base coat. This will prevent your nail polish from staining your nails and help it stay on longer.

2. Apply two thin coats of a bright pink nail polish. Let dry thoroughly before proceeding to the next step.

3. Paint your nails with two coats of a glittery gold polish. The easiest way to do this is to first paint a thin layer of clear polish onto your nails, then dip the tips in gold glitter and allow it to dry completely before shaking off the excess glitter and applying a top coat.

Pink and gold nails are one of the hottest trends out there right now. They’re a feminine, fun look that can be achieved in a variety of ways. Here is one way you can achieve the look with a little bit of polish and some gold leaf.

You will need:

1. Base coat nail polish

2. Pink nail polish

3. Gold leaf

4. Top coat nail polish

Although I have seen a lot of blogs and articles that describe how to achieve this look, I know that many of you out there still find it difficult to do. So, I decided to show you ladies how easy it is!

First things first, before you grab your stuff and start painting your nails, make sure that you’ve filed them well. If you are wearing acrylics, make sure that they are not too long. There is nothing worse than having long acrylic nails painted with pink and gold colors.

Secondly, if you want your manicure to last longer (and we all want that), start with applying a base coat first. The base coat will protect your nail plate from the colors and will also help in making the colors more vivid.

After applying the base coat, allow your nails to dry completely. Then apply the pink color (or any other color) over it. Also make sure that you apply two coats of the color because otherwise it won’t look as pretty as it should.

When your pink coat is completely dry, go ahead and apply the gold strips. Make sure that when applying the strips, they stick well to your nail plate to avoid having them fall off early on. And when done with applying the strips, apply a top coat

Today I am sharing with you a pink and gold nail design that I did recently. This was actually a manicure I wore for Valentine’s Day but it is also perfect for Spring. The colors of this design are pretty…

Step 1: Base Coat & White

Apply a base coat to your nails and then using a white nail polish apply 2 coats of white nail polish. I used Sinful Colors Snow Me White. Be sure each layer is completely dry before moving on to the next step.

Step 2: Pink Nail Polish

Using a makeup sponge, create a gradient effect at the cuticle of your nails by dabbing on some pink nail polish. I used OPI Bubble Bath as my pink color. Apply 1-2 layers of the pink color ensuring that each layer is completely dry before moving on to the next step.

Step 3: Gold Glitter Top Coat

Paint the rest of your nail with a gold glitter top coat. I used Sinful Colors Cinderella. Be sure to paint over the sponge gradient as well so that it is covered with glitter and is no longer visible. This gives you that awesome ombre effect where the gold gradually becomes more prominent towards the tip of your nails, creating an almost 3D look

Step 1: Prepare your nails.

Make sure your nails are clean and trimmed in the shape you want them.

Step 2: Apply base coat.

Put on a base coat to protect your nails from getting stained by the polish.

Step 3: Apply gold glitter.

Apply the gold glitter nail polish on all of your nails, for both hands. Make sure you apply enough coats so that it appears very opaque and there is no sign of your natural nail color showing through the polish. Let this dry completely before moving on to the next step.

Step 4: Apply pink glitter.

Once your gold polish has dried completely, apply the pink polish to all of your nails, except for one accent nail on each hand. For this particular manicure, we applied our pink glitter polish to our thumbs and ring fingers, leaving our index fingers, middle fingers and pinky fingers with only gold polish on them. Again, make sure you apply enough coats so that it appears very opaque and there is no sign of your natural nail color showing through the polish. Let this dry completely before moving on to the next step.

Step 5: Apply top coat (optional).

If you would like, you can paint a clear top coat on all ten
