Ombre nails is a type of manicure that has two colors on it. It can be any color combination but the most popular ones are pink and white or red and black. The best part about this type of manicure is that it looks amazing without spend a lot of money in a nail salon.

Things you will need:

– 2 different colors of nail polish (one light color and one dark color)

A lot of people have been asking me how I got pretty ombre nails. This is a blog that around how to get ombre nails and how to get them perfect.

First you need to prep your nails by filing

Then you paint your nails with a base coat

Next is the color of you choice, I tend to use two coats of this color

Then you need to put glitter on your nails, leave some room by your skin so it can look like a gradient

Then you need to put white on the tip of the nail, I usually do 3 coats, so it can be bolder and brighter looking

Finally, you need top coat.

Ombre is all the rage right now, and for good reason. It is so chic, so edgy and definitely eye catching in a non-offensive way.

I am all about the whole ombre look, but I find it difficult to find advice on how to get a perfect ombre nail that doesn’t look cheap or too dark. Here are some tips I have learned over the years to achieve the best ombre nails possible:

First of all, you want to start with a base coat as well as a white coat. You can also use another base color besides white. You should use two coats of white or your base color to make sure your nails are fully covered and white/base color looks solid.

Once that is dry, you want to apply two coats of your lighter colored polish (the color closest to your cuticles). Make sure you only apply this on the top half of your nail so it will blend in with the darker color. When these nails dry, apply another coat of the light shade on top so when it blends in with the darker shade it will not be streaky!

After that dries you can take a sponge and put some dots of both colors onto it. Start from the bottom and

If you love Ombre Nails, but don’t want to look like you spent 10 minutes on them; this is the tutorial for you! Our Ombre Nails are perfect for a French Manicure. With the right Colours, they can be worn to work, and they transition perfectly into Summer!

You will need:

1. Base Coat (Optional)

2. White nail polish in a shade that works with your skin tone. I used OPI!!

3. Pink or coral nail polish in a similar shade as your lips for a natural effect. I used China Glaze!!

4. A Makeup Sponge

5. Top Coat

Before you start, make sure to apply a base coat first. This will protect your nails from the colour and prevent them from staining.

Apply a layer of white polish about half way up your nails. I used OPI Alpine Snow.

Using a makeup sponge, paint on some pink polish over the top of the white polish. I used Essie Romper Room.

Sponge on a second layer, making sure they’re not too thick. You don’t want it to look like you have pink tips and white nails. You want the colour to look soft and ombre-like.

Add another layer if necessary, but be careful not to over do it or the colour will be too thick and won’t dry well!

Finish it off with a top coat to seal in your design and smooth out any bumps or imperfections that may have occurred. I used Seche Vite fast dry top coat because it dries quickly and is chip resistant.

1. Paint your nails with a base coat

2. Here’s where you’ll want to take your makeup sponge

3. Dip the sponge into the white polish, covering about half of it in the polish

4. Now dip the opposite side of the sponge in your pink polish

5. Press the sponge onto your nail, using a rolling motion for best results and ensuring that you are pressing down firmly

6. Repeat step 5 on all nails, including the thumb!

7. The end result should look something like this

1.Prepare your nails by making sure they are clean and dry.
