Nail Tip

Nails are a big part of what we do and we’re always hearing new tips and tricks that help to make our manicures even better. We’re rounding up the best nail tips and tricks that every woman should try to make her nail polish last longer, apply smoother, and just look better in general.

1. Start with a fresh start.

Before applying your first coat of polish, wash your hands to remove any dirt or grime that may be on your nails. This is especially important if you’ve been cleaning, cooking or doing other activities that may have left residue on your nails. It’s also a good idea to remove any old polish you may have on your nails with a non-acetone nail polish remover.

2. Don’t shake it up.

Shaking nail polish can stir up air bubbles inside the bottle which will come out onto the brush when you apply it to your nails. Instead, roll the bottle between your hands for about 30 seconds instead to evenly mix the color and avoid air bubbles in your manicure!

3. Use white nail polish as a base coat.

Using a white base coat under dark colors will help them stand out more and look brighter on your nails! The same goes for using

Nail Tips and Tricks

1. Apply a base coat before painting your nails with nail polish. It protects your nails from breaking and chipping.

2. If time is short, or you are doing your nails at work, you can use the powder from two aspirins to keep your nail polish from smearing!

3. To remove the white lines that appear on your nails when it dries up, dip a cotton ball in non-acetone nail polish remover and swipe it across your nail bed.

4. To make your manicure last longer, apply a thin coat of clear nail polish as a top coat every other day.

5. Applying Vaseline on the cuticles will keep them soft and moisturized.

6. When using glitter nail polish, there is no need to apply a top coat after it dries up since it already has its own shine. You can also use hairspray or clear deodorant to get the same effect.

7. Don’t forget to apply cuticle oil on your cuticles to keep them nourished and healthy! 8. Use cream eyeshadow as an alternative for eye primer if you don’t have one handy! It will create a smooth canvas for your perfect eye makeup

Nail Tips and Tricks

1. Avoid the Stretchy Nails

When you have acrylic nails, you want them to last as long as possible. It is best to use a slightly thinner consistency when applying acrylic on top of gel polish. If you do not, the nails could become stretchy. The thicker consistency is more prone to cracking in the long run.

2. Skip the Base Coat

If you are using a gel base coat, skip using a traditional base coat underneath. Most people like to use a regular base coat because they believe it helps their nail color go on smoother. However, it can actually cause your nail polish to bubble or even peel off sooner. Using just the gel base coat will give you a nice smooth surface for your nail color and help it last longer.

3. Don’t Forget Your Cuticles

Many people get caught up in painting their nails that they forget about their cuticles! You should always push your cuticles back before painting your nails with gel polish. Push back the cuticles with an orange stick or cuticle pusher while they are still wet from an oil treatment. Then trim any excess skin from around your nails with small scissors or clippers before applying gel polish.

4. Skip the Top Coat for

1. Wipe your nails with acetone-based nail polish remover before applying a basecoat

This will remove any oils on your nail plate, which can prevent the basecoat from adhering properly. The result? Your manicure will chip and peel sooner.

2. Apply two thin coats of polish instead of one thick coat

When it comes to nail polish, more is not better! Thick layers of lacquer are more likely to peel and chip.

3. Always use a basecoat (and topcoat)

A good basecoat does two things: It smooths out imperfections on the nail plate and prevents dark lacquers from staining your nails. A topcoat locks in color and adds shine. Not using these products is like painting without priming or sealing a wall; you’ll get lackluster results that won’t last long!

4. If you want to speed up drying time, soak your wet nails in ice water for three minutes

It may sound crazy, but it works! Ice water constricts blood vessels, which helps nails dry faster. Keep in mind that this trick only works when you’re using traditional nail polish-gel polishes require curing under an LED lamp and cannot be sped up with ice water dips.

1. Apply Vaseline to your cuticles before painting your nails and the polish won’t stick to them.

2.To get rid of bubble, blow on your wet nails before putting on a second coat of nail polish.

3.If you want your manicure to last longer, apply a clear topcoat every other day.

4.If you don’t have a base/topcoat and your nail polish is thick and goopy, add a few drops of nail polish remover to thin it out.

5.If you have smudged nail polish while it is still wet, dip a Q-Tip in nail polish remover and gently clean up the smudge without messing up the rest of the nails.

6.For easier application, put your nail polish in hot water for five minutes before applying it – this will make the application smoother and evener.

7.To prevent chipping, apply a super thin layer of Vaseline along the edges of each nail after painting them with nail polish – this will help them stay chip-free for longer!

8.Gently rub lemon rinds on your nails to give them a natural shine (this works best if you don’t use any nail polish).

9.If you

Proper nail care is an important part of a healthy beauty routine. For many people, nails have been a fashion trend for decades. If you have your nails painted with dye, it will enhance your look and change your style. It is not only an accessory that makes you look more beautiful but also a way to show off your personality.

Nail polish has different colors to match every occasion and season of the year. In addition, there are various brands of nail polish that provide different benefits and features for the user’s convenience. The latest innovation for nail polish is the “gel” or “uv gel nail polish.”

Gel nail polish offers plenty of benefits for the user, such as easy application, long-lasting effect, and glossy finish. Gel does not crack easily, unlike other types of nail polish that easily chip after a few days. The good thing about uv gel nail polish is that it dries under ultraviolet light so there is no need to wait for it to dry naturally. Moreover, since it uses ultraviolet light, the drying process is faster compared to other types of nail polish.
