And now that summer is here, I have to change my nail color to something more cheerful and fun! So, here’s a little list of the nail colors you need this summer.

1. OPI – The World Is Not Enough. This color is so beautiful. It’s the perfect nude polish for summer. Most people think a nude polish is boring, but not this one! It has a hint of shimmer, which makes it just enough to give your nails some life!

Summer is finally here, and that means it’s time to update your nail color. Get the scoop on the shades you need to flaunt this season:

1. Blue

Whether it’s a pale blue or a deep denim, this color is great for summer. If you love blue but would prefer something a little more feminine, try a periwinkle shade like Essie’s “Bikini with a Martini” (pictured). Want something edgier? Go with a cobalt blue instead.

2. Red

Red is always in style. It looks great on everyone and there are so many different shades to choose from, too. I love OPI’s “Cajun Shrimp” for summer because it’s lighter than your typical red but still has that pop of color you’re looking for. Pairing this polish with white will make it look even brighter!

3. Yellow

If you’re feeling especially adventurous, try Essie’s “Lemon Drop” nail polish (pictured). This shade looks super cute with gold accents and will give your summer pedicure a fun pop of color. And if you’re not quite ready to sport yellow on your fingernails, just paint your toes!

4. Coral

In recent years, the fashion industry has been trending towards a more minimalist approach to nail color. Hardly anyone wears acrylics anymore, and colors have been moving from bright shades to neutral colors such as nude, beige and clear. If you’re looking for a new manicure to sport this summer, here are 5 colors that are sure to turn heads:

1-Clear Nail Polish: Clear polish is the most versatile shade of all. It can be worn alone or over any other color. It can be used to give your nails a shiny finish, or it can be used as a top coat sealant over another color. If you’re looking for a low maintenance look that will go with any outfit, clear polish is the way to go.

2-Nude: Nude is the second most versatile shade of all. A simple nude manicure can be worn with virtually anything. If you want to show off your engagement ring, nude is perfect for that too! Nude looks good on any skin tone and it’s super low maintenance.

3-Beige: Beige is one of those colors that works well as either an accent or a full manicure. If you want something with a little bit more personality than nude but not quite

Mint Green: Who says you can

Summer is a time to have fun, relax and unwind. Your nails should reflect that. This season trends are all about bright colors and simple designs.

Dip manicures are the newest craze in the nail world. They are popping up all over social media and finding their way into local salons from coast to coast. The system uses a powder instead of liquid polish to create a strong manicure that will last for weeks without chipping or smudging. You can do it yourself at home or go to a salon to have it done for you.

The dip manicure is similar to gel polish but has one key difference – there is no UV light required to cure the powder on your nail. All you need is water!

If you’re going to try this new trend, here are five colors you should consider wearing this summer:

You don’t need to be a gel polish devotee to appreciate dip powder nails. Unlike acrylics, dip powders don’t require a UV light to seal the product and they’re not quite as harsh on your nails as gels. The process is also more similar to traditional nail lacquer than either of the aforementioned nails, so you don’t have to worry about sitting under a light or damaging your nails over time.

Dip powders are also great for all kinds of clients, especially those who have brittle nails. Because there’s no liquid — the monomer — involved in dip powder manicures, it’s less likely that clients will experience any lifting. “It’s an advanced version of the acrylic powder system that’s been around for years,” says Holly Falcone, celebrity manicurist and creator of her own dip powder line, Dipwell. “It’s thinner, has no smell and adds strength and durability.”
