Now, you will want to take a makeup sponge (I use the kind that has two sides) and place a small amount of each color on the sponge (I would recommend using 2-3 colors). You should wipe off any excess polish on the side of your container then lightly dab the sponge on your nails until they are opaque with color. Tip: If you find that the colors aren’t blended enough, you can use a q-tip dipped in acetone or nail polish remover to clean up the edges and smooth

Then use strips or tape to cover half of each nail with the second color, leaving only half exposed (if you’re using scotch tape make sure it’s the same width as your nails so it doesn’t show). Finally, paint over top with another coat of polish and voila!
