Everybody loves a nice manicure, but let’s be honest, we’re all trying to save a few bucks. If you’re not planning on splurging for a salon manicure, there is one more expensive way to get nail art without breaking the bank: do it yourself!

We know what you’re thinking: “Not for me. I’m far too clumsy!” and “I don’t have the time.” But here at The Complete Guide To Nail Art, we want to prove that doing your own nail art isn’t as difficult as you think! And with so many different designs to choose from, you’ll definitely find something for every occasion.

Nail Art is taking over the world by storm. It’s a fun, inexpensive and easy way to spice up your look or express yourself when words aren’t enough! I want this blog to be different from all the other nail art blogs out there, because I want it to show you that ANYONE can do nail art. You don’t need expensive tools or products, you just need to be creative. If you have any questions or comments at all please email me at multicolorednails@gmail.com and I will reply back as soon as possible!

All you need is a base coat, top coat, and your favorite color of polish. Once you have these three simple things you can start to get creative and make any design you want on your nails.

A few tips before starting: Make sure to buy a good top coat. The Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top coat works great as a base coat also. Also make sure that whatever design you choose for your nails is not too complicated or it will be difficult to do in the time frame you have to do it in.

The most popular nail art designs are flower designs and polka dot designs. They are both simple enough to create but they still look beautiful on your nails.

To do a flower nail design all you will need is two different colors of polish, one lighter than the other, a toothpick, and a small bowl of water. Start off by painting your entire nail with the lighter color of polish. Then dip the toothpick into the darker color of polish and put little dots all over the nail. You can make these dots in any pattern that you want or just randomly place them on your nail. After you have completed this step dip the toothpick into the water and then touch it to each dot on your nail so that it spreads out

This is going to be a very long post, but it’s been a while since I’ve done a full comprehensive tutorial so I hope this makes up for it.

The first thing to note about the nail designs in this post is that they all use regular drugstore nail polish, no fancy equipment or brushes required.

This design is really easy and quick to do, it uses three different polishes (you could even use four if you wanted to make those diagonal lines another colour) but it still looks just as good if you used one or two colours.

DIY nails are the way to go, without a doubt. There is nothing better than waking up in the morning, looking down at your nails and thinking “Yes, I did that myself.” It’s a little bit of an accomplishment, it’s satisfying and on top of that you get to show off your mad nail art skills.

I think we can all agree that when it comes to nail art, we’re all just a little bit obsessed. With all of the different colors and designs available, you can do anything from classic red nails to multi colored nail art in just one sitting. It’s perfect for anyone!

Today I wanted to share with you how easy it is to do multi colored nails, because they look so good and they’re super easy to accomplish.

This is a tutorial for multi colored nails. These are so much fun and easy to do!

You can use any colors you want and alter the pattern to suit your style.

Here is what you need:

A base coat of clear polish

A top coat of clear polish

Three colors of colored nail polish ( I used pink, blue, and green)

Nail art is everywhere right now – but it doesn’t have to be complicated. We’ve got the down-low on how to get your nails into tip top shape while having some fun with colours and patterns.
