Spring is all about blooming flowers and warm weather, but more importantly it’s the time when we can start rocking our cute spring nail colors. Here are my top 5 trends for this spring!

Soft Neon: Neons are a huge trend for this spring, but instead of wearing bright neon colors, try soft neons instead. Soft neons are pastel versions of neon colors, which makes them a lot easier to wear!

Metallic: Metallics were huge last year and they will continue to be huge this year as well. They add a fun edge to your nails without being too bold. Plus, you can wear metallic nail polish with almost any outfit!

Aquatic: Inspired by the ocean and its creatures, aquatic-themed nails are great for those who love the beach and water. They’re also great if you just love blue nail polish!

French Manicure: French manicures have been around forever, but they never seem to go out of style. The great thing about french manicures is that they go with everything and they are extremely easy to do yourself at home!

Pink: Pink is my all-time favorite color so I would get excited if someone told me pink was in style because I already think it’s the best color

At the beginning of every new year, fashion experts and beauty gurus everywhere come up with a list of top trends. Some of these lists are for clothing and accessories, others for makeup or hair. But what about nails? With so many different shades and designs, it can be difficult to decide on just one look–so why not go with all of them?

This spring, nail trends range from simple to creative, from muted to bright. Regardless of the style you choose, it’s sure to be a hit! Here are our top five nail trends for spring 2013:

1. Neon

Bright neon colors have been a big trend in apparel this season. In recent years, neon has been making its way into the beauty world as well. This spring, it’s finally made its way onto our nails! From Kelly green to hot pink and everything in between, these vibrant hues are sure to catch some eyes.

2. Reduced

Of course, there are also those who prefer something a bit more subtle than bright neon colors. For those people, a good nude or light pink will do the trick. The best thing about these shades is that they’re appropriate for any occasion–from work to play!

As we begin to transition into Spring, it is time to look at the latest trends to hit the nail salon. This Spring, we’re seeing a lot of color, animal prints and glitter on our favorite celebrities. From bright pinks and neon yellows, to leopard spots and zebra stripes, these are definitely not your mother’s French tips.

Coral Calypso by Lippmann: This hot pink nail polish is the perfect way to welcome in the warm weather. The shade will go with all of your spring dresses and looks great with a tan. The pop of color will add life to any outfit.

Dragonfly by OPI: Neon yellow nails are hot this season. They may look intimidating but they are surprisingly versatile and will go with almost anything in your closet. If you are looking for something more subtle than a bright yellow try a pastel shade like OPI’s We The Female.

Leopard Print by Nails Inc: Animal print nails are so much fun! Unlike those tacky leopard pants you wore in high school, these nails never go out of style. Whether you choose leopard or zebra print this trend is sure to make you stand out from the crowd.

Glitter by China

1. Essie in Off the Shoulder: This is a gorgeous and elegant nude color that provides a chic look for the spring season. The color is not too pale and not too tan, but looks beautifully elegant when paired with a simple white dress or black dress.

2. China Glaze in Peachy Keen: This is perfect for spring because of the bright, yet soft pastel peach tone. It has a satin finish that give it a more sophisticated look than most other peachy nail colors.

3. Zoya in Taylor: This coral shade has a bit of pink undertones which make it perfect for those who don’t like wearing bold colors. It’s one of those nail colors that will match any outfit and look great at the same time!

4. Butter London in Trout Pout:This is definitely one of my favorite pink nail colors this season because it adds just enough pop to your nails without looking like you’re trying too hard. The hot pink shade is both fun and flirty, making it a great addition to your spring wardrobe!

5. OPI in Pink Friday: With all the buzz going around about Nicki Minaj’s debut album, why not sport her nail color? Pink Friday is an electric shade of pink that
