You might not realize it, but bacteria is controlling your life. You might be thinking that this is an overstatement, but there are many ways that bacteria could be playing a role in your life without you even realizing it. At first glance, this might sound like something that is strictly scientific, but you need to know that bacteria can be pretty dangerous if you don’t know how to treat it properly.
For example, let’s say that you have a nail fungus. If you don’t take care of it, there is a chance that your entire body could become infected. This could cause serious problems with your breathing, or even with your ability to see properly. If you are wondering why it might be so important to get rid of this type of bacteria as soon as possible, then you should make sure to read on so that you can learn more about the different ways this type of bacteria can affect your life and what steps you will need to take in order to ensure that your health is protected at all times.
The first thing that you should know about these types of bacteria is that they are very good at hiding in places where they won’t be easily detected by the human eye. Because of this, it’s very important for you to make sure that you keep track
It’s a fact of life: Everyone has bacteria. But when that bacteria gets out of control, it can wreak havoc on your health.
Did you know that most people suffer from some form of bacterial overgrowth during their lives? That bacteria is directly linked to many illnesses and diseases, and can affect everything from your skin to your mind?
In this article, we’ll talk about how that bacteria is affecting your life without you even realizing it. We’ll also talk about how to protect yourself against harmful bacteria, and get rid of the ones that are already there.
You may not be aware of it, but you’re constantly under attack from bacteria. Bacteria are everywhere—in the air you breathe, the water you drink and the food you eat. They’re also inside your body—from the surface of your skin all the way down to your intestines. Some of these bacteria are helpful; others are harmful.
If you’re a pushover, then you’re probably not going to like this post. But if you’re willing to stand up and fight for yourself, then keep reading.
The bacteria in and on your body are out to get you. They’ll do anything they can to make sure the human species is eventually exterminated. I know this because I read it on the Internet – several times! It’s a pretty convincing argument, when you think about it.
Most of us have heard the phrase “the bugs are out to get us”. We’ve been told that if we don’t wash our hands every 15 minutes, we’ll contract some kind of disease or virus from someone else. But what if those same bacteria were already living inside our own bodies? What if there was something in us that was already programmed to kill us off?
That’s something I never considered until recently when I began researching my latest book for children called The Tiny Kingdom: An Introduction to the Tiniest Creatures in Your Body (Wise Ink Creative Publishing). In it, I talk about how bacteria are actually responsible for most of our diseases and illnesses – from the common cold to cancer.
I’ll be honest with you: I’m as skeptical as anyone when it comes to claims like
You may not realize it, but bacteria are capable of much more than just making you sick. In fact, some bacteria can actually help you to lose fat and make new friends.
A recent study published by a team of scientists at the University of Oregon’s Institute of Neuroscience showed that the bacteria that live in your gut are able to exert control over brain functions such as emotional behavior and learning capabilities. In other words, these little bugs that you have living inside your digestive tract (more specifically in your intestines) have the ability to directly influence how you think and behave!
The researchers found that the brains of mice who had been colonized with Lactobacillus rhamnosus JB-1 showed decreased anxiety-related behaviors and demonstrated enhanced cognitive abilities in comparison to those mice who were not colonized with this type of bacteria. The researchers believe that these changes occurred as a result of increased levels of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), which is an inhibitory neurotransmitter that helps to regulate neuronal excitability within the central nervous system. This neurotransmitter is also one which many anti-anxiety medications work on in order to alleviate symptoms associated with anxiety disorders such as panic attacks, obsessive compulsive disorder, social phobia and post-traumatic
I have been a chronic nail biter for as long as I can remember. It was something that I never noticed until I got to high school and my friends would make comments about how gross it was. Needless to say, it was an embarrassing habit that I wanted to grow out of, but couldn’t figure out how.
I started biting my nails as a kid because my parents were always scolding me for doing something wrong and nothing calmed me down faster than biting my nails. With all the stress in my life, nail biting quickly became a bad habit that was hard to break.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t just my friends who gave me grief about biting my nails. Once I got into college and started working at a salon, clients would get nervous when they saw me bite my nails or even file them down. As much as I tried to hide it from them, there were times where I had no choice but to do it in front of them. The worst part about it is that I work on clients’ hands quite often and they would see the damage just by looking at mine!
There’s a reason why nail salons are so popular. They’re time savers and you can feel more confident when your nails look good. But it’s not all fun and games when getting your nails done, there is a serious risk that you could be getting yourself into.
A new trend in nail salons is called the dip powder manicure. This new trend is said to be more durable than a traditional manicure and many people are raving about it. However, it has caused some concern due to the chemicals that are used during this process and the effect they can have on your body, both internally and externally.
Nail salons use Cysteine and Methionine as dip powder ingredients. These chemicals are amino acids that work as a base coat on your nails and they also help to strengthen them. The problem with these ingredients is that they can cause allergic reactions and irritate the lungs if you inhale them.
It gets even worse because those aren’t even the only two chemicals that are used in the dip powder process. There have been studies done by the Environmental Working Group (EWG) which have shown that there are at least 22 toxic chemicals found in dip powders, such as formaldehyde, toluene, phthalates
I have been using the OPI gel polish with a UV light for the last year and a half, and my nails have never looked better. I have always done my own manicures and pedicures, but since using the gel polish I get compliments every day on my nails. It is also great to be able to go two weeks without a new manicure!
Recently, however, I have had two friends who were getting married ask me for help removing their gel nail polish in order to do “something fancy” for their wedding. This was a huge mistake!!! The removal process is highly toxic and should not be attempted at home. While you can certainly buy kits with the acetone, etc., that are needed to remove the polish yourself, there are some significant risks involved which I did not know about until after my friends’ nails were ruined…
After reading how dangerous it can be to remove dip nail acrylics at home, I will definitely be going back to the salon for this service.
