If you can’t get these two brands then I suggest getting a quality product from Sallys Beauty Supply or your local beauty supply store. Look for one that says “for professional use only” on the labels.

Another important thing when it comes to doing acrylic tips is making sure you have a clean working area, good lighting, and proper ventilation. Also make sure you have good lighting so that you can see what you are doing as well as proper ventilation so that the acrylic fumes don’t bother

French nails are made of acrylic. Acrylic gel is a material that can be used to create beautiful, long-lasting nails. It is a polymer powder and monomer liquid, which harden when they come in contact with each other. Acrylic nails can be created by hand or airbrushed on the surface of the nail, or even molded into any shape you want.

Acrylic comes in many colours: clear, opaque, glittery etc., so it is suitable for any occasion and can be worn on its own or as a base for applying nail polish. Because acrylic is flexible and durable, it’s great for creating all kinds of nail art designs.

There is a set of instructions on how to get the best results using acrylic, nail tips and gels. These are just my tips on things I have found that work for me.

Cleanse the nails well with acetone. Use a brush or cotton ball to remove the surface oils on the nail plate.

It is important to push the cuticles back and remove any excess skin from around the nail plate. If you don’t do this step correctly it will lead to lifting.

If you are going to use a tip, make sure that it matches your natural nail shape as closely as possible. You can file the inside edge of the tip where it fits over the free edge of your natural nail. This will help prevent lifting and make your finished nails look more natural.

Apply a thin layer of acrylic liquid to one side of each nail tip, then press onto your natural nail making sure that there are no air bubbles in between the two surfaces.

A thin coat of resin is applied over each tip and blended into the natural nail creating a smooth transition from tip to natural nail. Then another thin coat is applied over top of both resin and tip making sure that you cap over the end of the tip so there are no edges showing (this helps prevent lifting).

Nails have many crucial functions to perform: they protect the tips of our fingers and toes and help us to pick up small objects, scratch or dig things. They also allow us to make a fashion statement by painting them or adorning them in other ways.
